Ayurveda meaning the ‘science of life,’ is a natural system of medicine practiced for more that 3000 years in the Indian subcontinent, Ayurveda finds use for resin incense in all forms, and they are known to cure a host of ailments.

The Asthanga Hriduya (the essence of eight sections of Ayurveda) is one of the primary root texts of Ayurveda. In chapter 2 of these texts there is special mention of resin incense, recommending burning Frankincense and Myrrh to cleanse the lungs.

At Inception Bodhi we believe in only sourcing from the best. All our resin incense products are handpicked, hygienically processed, farmed traditionally, totally natural. We encourage only organic and ethical farming techniques and do not employ or encourage child labour.
